•We install to the exact standards set out in the British board of agreement certificate for our products.
•Our practice of unannounced on site inspections by senior member of staff ensures excellence on every finished installation.
•Jones Window Systems are ‘approved installers’ of Freefoam building products.
•We never over clad any part of your roofing as this leads to increased levels ofmoisture and costly repairs.
•All of our roofing products have a tough polished and shiny surface ensuring they stay free of dirt and reflect much of the sun’s heat limiting heat absorption and linear expansion.
•Our Fascia products are high density and load bearing meaning they are capable of supporting fixtures at any point on their length not just at rafter fixings.
•We use solid high-density soffit board instead of hollow clad option, which tends to sag between fixings.
•Our box ends are manufactured on site using specially formed board ensuring a one- piece finish unique to Jones Window Systems.
•All of our roofing products are available in the following colours to match perfectly with your existing home colour scheme: White, Light Oak, Mahogany, Ash Black.
•All work is undertaken with full public liability insurance cover in place.
•All plastic-to-plastic joints which are not floating expansion joints as stipulated in the B.B.A certification are made using specialist colourfast plastic cement.
•High quality rainwater goods are installed and fixed at a maximum 750mm centres to allow for ‘snow loading’. Once installed they are wet tested before we leave the site.
•Jones Window Systems install rigid eaves guard to your roof edge to replace the worn and aged felt. This creates a continuous waterproof membrane and prevents rainwater welling behind the fascias.
•Our rigid eaves guard is installed in xx meter lengths meaning less joints with standard lengths.
•The rigid eaves guard channels rainwater directly into the gutter system.
•During the course of the installation we remove all roofing asbestos and dispose of it in accordance with strict environment agency guidelines.

Jones Window Systems

June 6th, 2010

Jones Window Systems are manufacturers and installers of double glazing and uPVC double glazed windows and doors. A wide range of designs and styles are offered and bespoke windows are our speciality.

Double glazing is not only about thermal insulation to keep your house warmer and draught-free – security is just as important. All our double-glazed windows are glazed at 28mm thickness, with high security glazing, reinforced with steel and high security locking system with shoot bolts. All UPVC has a 70mm profile. All doors, patio doors and conservatories also have emphasis on security, being reinforced with Hook/Mortice locks.

One of the weakest points in the energy efficiency of the average home is the window area. The single sheet glass in a standard window is a poor “thermal insulator”, and allows a great deal of heat to pass from warm spaces to cooler spaces – meaning, of course, that the house gets cold in winter and hot in summer!

Our A-Rated Double Glazing solves this problem by having two sheets of glass separated by a sealed air space between them. This provides thermal and sound insulation which greatly exceeds that of single glazing. The warmer inner pane minimises the incidence of condensation and prevents puddles forming on window ledges, which can stain woodwork or curtains, the need for window cleaning is therefore reduced. Down-draughts and cold zones around windows are also reduced meaning greater comfort around window.

P-Shape Conservatories

June 6th, 2010

This style of conservatory combines a mixture of Lean-to and Victorian/Edwardian styles which when viewed from above takes the shape of the letter ‘P’ – hence the name, P-shaped Conservatory!

What people love about this style is that it almost equates to adding an additional two rooms to your home as it allows for one section to be used for dining and the other to be enjoyed for relaxing.

This style, however, offers greater versatility as it is not restricted in its use. Should you wish to use it as one large space, its soft corners provides the ability to do this by letting the eye glide from one end to another seamlessly.

As with all our conservatories this style is made to measure so the proportions of both sections can be decided by you. The dwarf wall height, frame colour, door and window opening positions are also your choice allowing greater scope for you to develop exactly the dream you have in mind.

Gable-fronted conservatory

June 6th, 2010

The Gable-fronted conservatory design is a variant on the popular Edwardian conservatory and with its elegant shape it will transform even the smallest of gardens.

Gable conservatories create a stunning visual impact both internally and externally and with the high pitch of the roof they offer a real sense of height and space.

The front feature of the Gable-fronted conservatory is traditionally made to resemble the sun rising (sunburst) however there are many other designs available.
